The DMS Expo wrapped up last week, ending a very successful three days for our Accusoft representatives. They joined over 400 exhibitors and almost 20,000 visitors in Stuttgart, Germany to talk about enterprise content management (ECM) solutions.
One of the highlighted topics at the Expo was how digitalization of information means a demand for access to information everywhere at any time. Although management of this information ranges “from small offline solutions to complex cloud structures and compliance solutions,” an integrated document viewer that works across all devices is key to providing that access to information.
So it’s no surprise that Tim Griffin, one of our Business Development Managers attending the show, found that browser-based zero footprint viewing and document streaming technology draw ECM developers to Prizm Content Connect.
Anders Paulsson, our other attending Business Development Manager, says the reason behind Prizm Content Connect’s popularity is that “the need to incorporate a document viewer into ECM solutions is at the top of the list” for many European ECM companies. That's why many of them stopped by our booth, shown as it was set up at right.
On a less technical note, our attendees’ soccer (“real football”) excursion, Copenhagen vs. Stuttgart, was less than stellar - the game ended with a 0-0 tie. But Anders was happy they went, since “the atmosphere, with fans chanting back and forth, made up for the lack of scoring and overall it was definitely an enjoyable experience.”
