Reflecting on Microsoft's 2012 SharePoint Conference

sharepoint2012_300Last week, five Accusoft employees joined over 10,000 other attendees at Microsoft’s 2012 SharePoint Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada.  The show focused on SharePoint and related technologies for four days filled with over 300 sessions.

Prateek Kathpal, our Vice President of Viewing Product Strategy, said that the focus at the Accusoft booth was on the Digital Rights Management (DRM) capabilities of Prizm Content Connect’s SharePoint Edition.  He found that “the ability to turn off printing and copying on documents and making read-only users true read-only users was well accepted at the show.”

Amanda Gold, Prizm Channel Program Manager, thought the show was a great success.  The Accusoft booth had “lots of traffic, lots of interest,” and our employees were able to meet up with a lot of present and future business partners.

Our attendees enjoyed some of the other perks of being at a huge trade show in Las Vegas.  Microsoft hosted Jon Bon Jovi the final night of the show, which Prateek was able to see.  And Amanda loved seeing the Beatles-influenced “Love” show by Cirque du Soleil.
