Accusoft Awarded Patent for Image Binarization

On July 3, 2012 two inventors, Erica Cooksey and Els (William) Withers, from Accusoft were awarded a United States Patent for the Methods and Apparatus for Performing Image Binarization.

"An intelligent algorithm for binarizing an image is an important component in many real-world applications," said Erica Cooksey, Software Engineer at Accusoft.
